 Today is National Wine Day Infogroup analyzed their business database to pick the best city to celebrate National Wine Day based on the ones with the most wine retailers and wineries Portland, Oregon, with 1.545 wine-related businesses per 10K residents, was named Best Wine City in the U.S. 

While for some people every day is wine day, today is actually National Wine Day so you shouldn’t feel guilty opening up that bottle of Chardonnay you’ve been chilling for the weekend. And though it may be easy to celebrate National Wine Day from the comfort of your couch, there are some cities where the celebration could be even better.

Infogroup analyzed their business database to pick the best city to celebrate National Wine Day based on the ones with the most wine retailers and wineries, with the winner having the highest concentration of wine-related businesses per 10,000 residents.

So, which city is the best for wine lovers? Well that would be Portland, Oregon, with 1.545 wine-related businesses per 10K residents. Portland seems to be a great place for all kinds of booze lovers, with a previous study naming it the top city for beer-related businesses as well.
