4 Dead, Minimum Dozen Hospitalized IN GA

   Story takes us to HOUSTON COUNTY, Ga. where four people are reported dead with at least a dozen more hospitalized after presumably overdosing on Percocet. This report is according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Within 48 hours, emergency workers responded to reports of overdoses in Centerville, Perry and Warner Robins. Although, the drugs might also have been sold throughout the state of Georgia.

According to first responders, patients are unconscious or unresponsive and have difficulty breathing or have stopped breathing. Placing many patients on ventilators.

Authorities say the extreme potent substance yet to be identified require massive doses of naloxone (Narcan) in order to counteract its effects. Testing is is underway to identify the pills and the ingredients.
