Brunswick: Plane Missing Leaving BWK

A search is under is underway by authorities searching for survivors in Florida after a plane crashed near the St. Johns County and Flagler County line early This morning (7/14/17) The Flagler County Sheriff's Office said that preliminary reports indicated two people may have been in the aircraft,  they are working to confirm that number.

 According to the FAA, the Piper PA44 left Brunswick, Georgia late last night headed to Ormond Beac when it lost radar contact around 11 p.m. The aircraft took off from Brunswick, GA and was heading to Ormond Beach, Florida  Several law enforcement agencies along with the US Coast Guard, FL Fish and Wildlife Commission and the US Border Patrol are involved in the search. The crash is under investigation by theFAA and NTSB.
