While some folks in the media continue to try and promote a message of body positivity, it seems a lot of people still aren’t happy with their looks and have no problem going under the knife to change things.

According to a new report by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, $15 billion was spent on both surgical and nonsurgical aesthetic procedures last year, a record high and an 11% increase from last year. Overall, 56% of that money was spent on people going under the knife, while 44% was spent for non-surgical procedures.

So what is everyone getting done? Well, a recent report by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons claimed breast augmentation was the most popular form of plastic surgery, but this new report points to liposuction as the favorite, with 414,335 procedures done last year, while Botox is the top non-surgical procedure, with men and women combined getting it 4,597,886 times. The study also finds that some procedures seem to be gaining in popularity, like fat transfer to the breast, which is up 41.4% since last year, fat transfer to the face, up 16.7% and labiaplasty, up 23.2%.
