A taste of nostalgia over the weekend. Walked into a Dollar General, low and behold, I find Jolt Cola sitting on the shelf. If you were a kid from the 80's and late 90's, then you remember how this energy drink can flip your world upside down.....almost literally! Jolt Cola was THE energy drink before Red Bull was even though of as a concept. I must have drank two of these back in high school. If you have a heart condition, DO NOT attempt to drink this cola. If you're wondering how it tastes, well...... it tastes just like a Coca Cola. I found this in a 4 pack on Amazon for $12. However, Dollar General is the official retailer that carries Jolt. Best of all, it's just $1 per can depending on individual store pricing.
Some of my co-workers have never tasted Jolt. This puts a grin to my face. I'm definitely going to let them try it as soon as I bring my portable blood pressure reader to work. Again, if you have a heart condition, might wanna consult your doctor first. This is serious cola action. Their slogan speaks the truth, "All the sugar and twice the caffeine." If you're looking for a Jolt of energy to get you through the day...... get yourself a Jolt and enjoy!
