Panic At The Disco's 'Pretty. Odd.' Just Hit A Major Milestone

Panic! At The Disco's Pretty. Odd. turned 11 years old on Thursday (March 21), and now the band has something more to celebrate: The record has officially been certified Platinum by the RIAA. Their second album is a pretty polarizing one in their discography — fans either love or hate it — however, that love seems to have overcome any hate because it has now sold over a million units.

Though each of Brendon Urie and company's albums have gone at least Gold, Pretty. Odd. is now in the ranks with 2016's Death of a Bachelor, which also went Platinum, and the band's first album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, which has gone 2x Platinum.

Additionally, "High Hopes" recently marked P!ATD's 10th certified Platinum single, with their 2008 single "Nine In the Afternoon" reaching the 2x Platinum mark and their seminal hit "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" achieving a whopping 5x Platinum certification.

RIAA certifications aren't the only accolades Urie has been receiving lately. The P!ATD frontman will be celebrated at the 2019 GLSEN Respect Awards and is expected to accept the Inspiration Award at the LGBTQ ceremony in New York City on May 20. Last year he came out as pansexual, and the band has always been an ally to the LGBTQ community.
