Half Day For Brunswick High

Please be advised that Brunswick High School will operate on a half-day schedule on Thursday, March 9 to allow the school’s basketball fans ample time to travel to Athens for the state championship game at 8 p.m. that night. Brunswick High will dismiss students at 12:10 p.m. on Thursday following the normal first lunch period. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all students and bus transportation will operate on a half-day schedule. Arrangements will be made for students in special programs and school staff will notify parents of those students individually.All other district schools will operate on a normal schedule on Thursday, March 9. Friday, March 10 will be a normal school day for all schools including Brunswick High. BHS students who are absent on Friday can have that absence excused by presenting a ticket stub from the championship game.
