This morning at 2:13 a.m. uniformed patrol officers responded to a 911 call of a vehicle on fire in the 5400 block of Highway 17 North. When officers arrived, they found a 1994 Cadillac Deville, bearing a South Carolina tag, engulfed in flames on the side of the road. After the Glynn County Fire Department extinguished the fire, it was determined the vehicle was occupied by one person. The deceased has been identified as 39 year old Matthew Lee Johnson from Anderson, South Carolina.
