Shots Fired at Wal Mart; No One Hurt

From Glynn County Police:

“At 4:04 PM January 11, 2022, Glynn-Brunswick 911 Center received multiple 911 calls of shots fired in the parking lot of Walmart, 150 Altama Connector, Glynn County Police patrol officers responded within moments, and DID NOT FIND ANY INJURED PERSONS.

Initial investigation reveals that after being cautioned over driving behavior, an unknown white male began to act out in an aggressive and erratic manner making numerous verbal threats. The male then pulled a handgun from his vehicle and pointed it at the other party who fled on foot.

The male continued to act out as he returned to his vehicle. The other party then attempted to take a picture of the vehicle license plate causing the suspect male to pry his license plate off his vehicle.

Witnesses report as the male got back into his vehicle a single gunshot was heard.

There were no reported injuries and NO PERSON HAS BEEN SHOT.

The suspect vehicle is an older white Hyundai Sonata. The suspect is a white male reported as wearing a blue shirt with the word Navy on the back.

The investigation is ongoing. No additional information is available at this time.“
