Wal Mart Shooting Suspect Arrested

From Glynn County PD:

Glynn County GAā€”After the incident in the store parking lot, surveillance video and still images were shared by a department wide email. A GCPD patrol officer recognized the suspect from a prior safety and education contact for a minor traffic infraction. Additional research located an image from an E-Citation for a separate traffic offense. The suspect was even wearing the same hat from the store video. Investigators and Command Staff spent several hours yesterday afternoon attempting to locate the suspect at numerous addresses in Glynn and Brantley County to no avail.

About8:03 PM, an officer patrolling baker 5 (Altama corridor) observed the suspect vehicle pulling into the Arbyā€™s on Altama Connector. Other units responded to assist, with the second unit being able to clearly see and identify the suspect in the driverā€™s seat. Officers conducted a high risk traffic stop and took the suspect into custody. The suspect resisted his arrest by attempting to pull away from officers and physically resisting efforts to secure him. He was taken into custody without injury to officers or the suspect.
