White Castle Issued A Recall On Their Frozen Products!

White Castle has just issued a voluntary recall on their frozen sandwich products due to listeria concerns. According to the US Food and Drug Administration, the recall includes six-pack cheeseburgers, hamburgers, jalapeño cheeseburgers, and 16-pack hamburgers and cheeseburgers. The expiration dates are between August 4 and August 17. Keep in mind this recall only affects the frozen sandwiches that's sold in the grocery stores and the actual fast food locations are not affected by this recall.

If you have one of the recalled packages in your freezer, you should throw them away immediately or return them to the store you bought it from for a full refund. White Castle frozen food products are sold at: Target, 7-Eleven, Aldi, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Kroger, Kroger Fresh Fare, Rite Aid, Sam's Club, Save-A-Lot, CVS, Walmart, and grocery stores. White Castle vice president Jamie Richardson said in a FDA press release,

"Our number one focus is the safety of our customers and our team members, and as a family-owned business, we want to hold ourselves to the absolute highest standards of accountability in all aspects of our business and especially food safety."
