Our favorite childhood science teacher, Bill Nye the Science Guy, is officially on TikTok and he's making videos that will bring you right back to his iconic science lessons. His latest video demonstrates how cooking is science as it involves making pizza dough using a water bottle.

In the video, he starts by putting sugar and warm water in a water bottle. Once the sugar is dissolved, he adds a few teaspoons of yeast. He then puts a balloon on top of the water bottle and waits for the dough to rise. He eventually transfers it to a bowl to let the mixture rise more. When his pizza dough is ready to go, he adds spinach, pecorino romano, olive oil, and garlic to half of it and braised onions, salmon, and crème fraîche to the other half. Finally, he pops it in the oven on the lower rack and broils it for a little bit.

Bill Nye the Science Guy ends the video with a final reminder: "It's not magic, people. It's science!" You can see the full TikTok video below:
